By default the Home page will highlight the latest blog posts. However you can set any of the pages you’ve created as your home page. This can be done using WordPress built in functionality.

Step 1 – Choose your home page

Just go to Settings -> Readings and choose “A Static Page” in the “Front page displays” settings, then select the page you want to be your home page:

If you haven’t created a specific home page, now’s a good time to do so.

NOTE! You can use any page for the home page, so why not try adding a slideshow to a page, and use one of the page templates such as Latest Posts to get that custom look.

Step 2 – Save Changes.
