Adding Slideshows and Slideshow Settings
Slideshows can be added to the top of most pages with your Flotheme. Creating a Slideshow and adding it to your page is simple.
The following article covers creating and adding slideshows to pages, slideshow settings, and the 3 slideshow types available with Vivi.

Creating Slideshows
1. Add New Slideshow – To create a slideshow you have to go to the ‘Slideshow’ menu and click ‘Add New’.
2. Add Content – Add the slideshow title and then proceed to add the slides:
As you can see in the image above, you can create slides by adding images, these can be images from your media library, or you can upload images here as required, for full screen slideshows we recommend images of 1920x1200px and the images should be optimized for web. You can see more details on the recommended image sizes here.
In the next section you can see some advanced single image settings.
Advanced Single Image Options
After the images are added to the slideshow when you hover over the images you’ll notice 2 images that will allow you to delete or edit the slide you are interested in. And also you can drag and drop the available images to sort them.
When the ‘Edit’ icon is clicked, a modal box will open up and will allow to edit the options available for the current slide. For this theme the available options can be viewed in the image below:
You can edit the settings for all the slides as you are interested in, then close the modal box and publish/update the Slideshow post and all the images and options will be published.
Video
To Add Video, you can insert a Vimeo or YouTube link in the Video URL box, this will add a play button over the slideshow and allow full screen slideshows (if using a full screen option). You can also enable Autoplay if required.
Global Slideshow Settings
Besides the settings for each Slideshow, there are global settings that will affect all the Slideshows, they can be accessed in Flothemes – Content Settings – Slideshow:
Here you can select if you want the slideshow to autoplay and speed, and the typography options for the title and description.
Adding Slideshows to pages
Step 1 – Go to Pages
To add a slideshow to a page is simple, go to pages in your WordPress backend, then find the page you wish to add a slideshow.
Step 2 – Slideshow Settings
On the page, scroll down until you see Slideshow Settings here you are able to select the Slideshow, and also the Slideshow Type. Once added, update/publish the page:
Slideshow Types
There are 3 Slideshow options available in Vivi:
Full Screen
Content Width
This will be set by height, and it will be aligned from the right, this view allows you to also add smaller images with text to give you the look shown below. Its most suited to images that are the same size, of if you want to use portraits with text.
