The footer settings in Sydney allow you to update the footer copyright text, and enable social links in the footer of your site.

Here you can add your copyright for your own company name. If you wish to have the date update itself, use the following Syntax:
Copyright %year%
That will be in the format “Copyright 2016” for example.
