Importing Dummy data: If you are new to WordPress or have problems setting up a site that look like the Theme Demo, you can import dummy posts and settings here that will definitely help to understand how those tasks are done. There may be several demo versions available for import. Before importing you must select the version you want and then click ‘Import Dummy Data’ button. This will Start importing the demo content and settings.
You must be aware that if you have an existing site, it will overwrite your current settings.
Also importing the content may take some time, sometimes up to 15 minutes depending on how many images are imported. After you are done importing, the site will look like the one in the demo except the widgets content. then you can replace the demo content with your real content, and in this way it will take less time to set up your site exactly like the demo site.
Show WordPress admin bar – allows enabling or disabling the admin bar, which changes the way you can access the site’s backend.
At the end there are options that will allow you to change the URL slug for different post types.
e.g. the Gallery slug will appear in the URL after your domain name YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME.COM/GALLERY/GALLERY_POST_NAME
If you want to change any of the slugs, then after changing the slugs and saving the general settings you’ll have to reset the permalinks in order to make the new slugs work properly. To reset the permalinks you have to access Settings -> Permalinks and click the ‘Save Changes’ button.
