By default the Home page will highlight the latest blog posts.  But you can set any of the available pages as home page. This can be done using WordPress built in functionality.

Just go to Settings -> Readings and set up the “Front page displays” settings.

Note that by selecting a page that uses a Custom Page Template you’ll be able to have on the Home page the latest galleries, latest videos or just any other page.
